Cassie was the result of a mating of Canouan Ever So Earnest and Arcadia Amber Flame. She was Amber's only daughter from this litter. Cassie is a boisterous girl but at times can be laid back and quiet. She looks as though she may follow in her mother, father, and both grandmother's footsteps as she has a good nose and already hunts out the pheasant and partridge. She has swum for the first time and retrieved a dummy from the local pond.
In the show ring Cassie has proved her worth, qualifying for Crufts at her first Championship Show and winning Best Puppy in Show at Midland English Springer Spaniel Club Open Show. At Northern English Springer Spaniel Club Championship Show in June she won Junior Bitch Class and qualified for Crufts 2003. The judge was Mrs Reta Storie. Cassie has subsequently won First Prizes at other Championship Shows under Mr Graham Rogers, and Mr Keith Hubbard. She enjoys her showing and is an easy dog to handle.
